Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop to become a Netflix TV series

Does this spark joy, Netflix fans? Yes? No?

The streaming service is about to get some of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop on it.

The actresses’ luxury lifestyle and wellness brand has made a deal for a Netflix docuseries.

According to Variety and confirmed by EW, the series “will consist of 30-minute episodes hosted by the site’s editors, chief content officer Elise Loehnen and Paltrow. The team will utilize experts, doctors, and researchers to examine issues relating to physical and spiritual wellness.” The production team “seeks to dial up the aesthetics and quality of storytelling surrounding issues like mental, physical and sexual health — and address larger thematic questions the Goop audience has about leading optimal lives.”

Also this quote: “Gwyneth is a highly visual, tactile person,” Loehnen said. “The quality of everything that we produce is very important to her. She’s always looking for white space. Whether it’s developing physical products or thinking of content. With this show, I think she’s only really interested in opportunities where we can uniquely be ourselves and do things potentially disruptive.”

So relatable! Aren’t we all looking for highly tactical white space? Perhaps the Goop TV show can be nothing but white space? That would certainly be disruptive.

Goop’s podcast also signed an exclusive distribution deal with Delta Airlines, where it will find potential listeners trapped for hours in a confined space.

The Netflix show is expected to debut this fall. Hopefully, there will be at least one episode devoted to rose quartz vaginal “healing” eggs.
