The energy generated by the husband-and-wife rap team of Cardi B. and Offset produced enough light to shine over Kulture’s birthday party, despite the infamous New York blackout on Saturday, July 13.
Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, 26, and Kiari Kendrell Cephus, 27, did not let the blackout that covered a wide swath of the borough where the “Bodak Yellow” rap empress and husband decided to host the party for the price of $400K in Midtown Manhattan.
“The fact that I wanted my daughter party in 42nd street instead of Jersey and to my f–king luck New York had a power outage right on that Deum area!! B—- THE DEVIL!”
The Grammy-winning Cardi started off the day with a birthday shoutout to her child that was set, of course, to Cardi spitting on wax. Listen and watch below:
Despite the temporary setback on 42nd Street, Cardi and Offset still produced the gifts and bling for Kulture, including a necklace worth $100K that features characters from the children’s show, “Word Party.”
Overall, Kulture and her parents and friends made sure to convey their birthday bash was lit — even if the borough of Manhattan was not for most of Saturday night.
