Less than a year after tying the knot, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus announced that they are ending their marriage. It is a move that many fans had already seen coming from a mile away. But, even so, we assume that both Hemsworth and Cyrus are saddened by the news. Cyrus had reportedly moved on — she was caught kissing another woman before the divorce papers were even filed — but her most recent relationship status is single.
One person who doesn’t seem sad about the news is Lindsay Lohan. The 33-year-old actress and singer may have recently been flirting with the newly single Hemsworth. Being that Lohan and Hemsworth are both single, could it be possible that there may be a new romance about to blossom?

Hemsworth and Cyrus met each other while they were working on the same movie: The Last Song. Before the movie had finished production, rumors of a new budding relationship were already swirling around. Not long after that, the couple had confirmed their relationship and were attending public events together on a regular basis.
For the next six years, Hemsworth and Cyrus would break up and get back together again. They would later get engaged, break up again, date other people, and then get back together again. Finally, the two got married in December of 2018. This couple’s relationship took fans on a wild roller coaster ride of emotions.
Then, only days after the couple had announced that they were taking a break from their relationship, Cyrus was caught with The Hills star Kaitlynn Carter. The two were reportedly in a relationship and most recent reports suggest Cyrus and Carter are done.

Recently, Lohan went onto a radio show where she had admitted that she had actually just broken up with her boyfriend that day. It not clear who she was dating at the time, but there have been many reports that have suggested that she was dating Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman. The crown prince is estimated to be worth close to a billion dollars (and is also currently married to another woman), but Lohan didn’t seem too devastated over the break up during her interview.
Just a few days later, the Mean Girls actress seemed like she was ready to move on when she left an illusive comment on Hemsworth’s Instagram picture. The picture showed Hemsworth and his older brother, Thor star Chris Hemsworth, enjoy a sunny day in Australia. Lohan left a comment on the picture that read: “Why didn’t we meet in Sydney or Bondi?”
Lohan is currently in Australia filming the Australian version of Masked Singer.
On the surface, the comment doesn’t seem to be too flirty. However, the fact that they are both single now makes many fans wonder why Lohan would all of the sudden want to hang out with Liam Hemsworth. So far, Hemsworth has not said anything about her comment.

We are not sure if Lohan is looking for a new relationship or not. But there have been several reports that state the Hemsworth is not wanting to rush back into the dating scene just yet. After a long and complicated relationship with the former Hannah Montana star, we can understand why he may want to take a little while for himself.
It has been no secret that Cyrus loves to party. Many considered Cyrus’ free spirit and marijuana-induced good vibes to be a little too much for Hemsworth. And if Hemsworth thought that Cyrus was too wild for him, then we can guess that Lohan is probably definitely too much for him to handle. With her long criminal rap sheet and her wild and crazy personality, we would not be surprised if Hemsworth decided to keep his relationship with Lohan strictly on a friend level.
