DES MOINES (KCRG) – Police in Des Moines said they are investigating a reported sighting of a mountain lion within the city.
According to a Facebook post from the police department, the presence of an animal can be seen on video in the area of 31st and I-235. However, the video was not included in the post.
“Please exercise an abundance of caution with children and pets in this area,” the post said.
No other details were immediately provided.
