As it gets closer and closer to Meghan Markle’s springtime due date, there’s been more speculation about where, exactly, Meghan and Prince Harry and planning on having their baby.

There have previously been reports that Meg is considering a home birth—which is a major departure from royal tradition—and now it’s being reported that Meghan and Harry are thought to be considering hospital birth as well.

But there’s a catch—according to People, the hospital the royal couples are looking into isn’t St. Mary’s Hospital in London, aka where both Kate Middleton and Princess Diana gave birth. Apparently, Meghan and Harry are considering Frimley Park hospital in Surrey, where other members of the royal family had their children.

It looks like Meghan and Harry are considering Frimley Park for very practical reasons—it’s closer to their new home Frogmore Cottage (it’s around 15 miles away) and more accessible than St. Mary’s. And I’m no expert, but I’d assume you’d want to be able to get to your hospital easily when you’re about to give birth.

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman declined to comment on any of these options, so it’s not clear what Meghan and Harry’s plan will be. However, what I can say with 100% certainly is that I am v excited to see pics of the new royal come spring!
