- Grande’s new boyfriend, Dalton Gomez, made a surprise appearance in one of the sketches.
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s collaboration is the gift that keeps on giving.
Having already released an unforgettable music video, the pop superstars are now unleashing some Weather Channel–themed broadcasts to further promote their single. First it was this hilarious sketch, and now the two are getting completely soaked by welcoming an uncharacteristic amount of rain to California and New York.
In the latest video, both Gaga and Grande find themselves caught in “rainstorms.” While Gaga submerges herself in a swimming pool and is sprayed with a hose, Grande is showered in her bathtub at home. Both singers attempt to deliver their lines with water streaming over them—obviously not an easy task.
Opening the video, Grande jokes, “Live from L.A., where it never rains.” Gaga then reveals that she is in New York and tells viewers that she’d “rather be dry,” quoting her own lyrics.

Grande’s new boyfriend, real estate tycoon Dalton Gomez, made an appearance in the first themed sketch for “Rain on Me,” but the singer is apparently trying to keep her relationship fairly low-key. “Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet,” a source told People, “but she seems very happy with Dalton.”
“Rain on Me” is a track off Lady Gaga’s forthcoming album, Chromatica, which drops tomorrow, May 29.
