It wouldn’t be easy to exceed the lunatic heights reached by season 1 of Happy!, which found Chris Meloni’s debauched cop-turned-hitman Nick Sax reluctantly partnered with an animated, Patton Oswalt-voiced unicorn. But it looks like the folks behind the Syfy series (who include Crank co-director Brian Taylor) are giving it the old college try, judging by a just-released trailer for the Easter-themed second season.
Based on writer Grant Morrison and artist Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name, Happy! costars Patrick Fischler, Ritchie Coster, Lili Mirojnick, Medina Senghore, Christopher Fitzgerald.
Season 2 will premiere March 27. Watch the new trailer above.
