Epic Games has announced via the official Fortnite Twitter account that all players who participated in the Unvaulting event will receive a reward due to technical issues.
On Saturday, May 4th, 2019, Fortnite players gathered around the Loot Lake point of interest to watch the one-time in-game Unvaulting event. Unfortunately, this event was plagued by technical issues causing many players to complete miss out.
Epic Games has announced that they will be compensating all players who participated in the event, in one way or another, as a way of apologizing. Unfortunately, the event will not be replayed.
We apologize that some players were unable to view the Unvaulting event. Anyone who jumped into the Unvaulting playlist will be granted the Arcana Glider in the coming days. Players who purchased the Arcana Glider previously will be refunded their V-Bucks.

Unfortunately, a large chunk of creators and players did not get to experience this one-time, live, in-game event for themselves due to technical issues on Epic’s end.
Players who experienced this issue simply watched the timer countdown to 0:00:00, followed by nothing. No chance to vote, no volcanic explosions, no event.
