It’s time to highlight your bubbling aquarium because the Pantone Color Institute has selected orange-gold Living Coral as 2019’s color of the year.

The natural, playful shade evokes a sense of comfort and buoyancy, says the team at Pantone, which sets professional color standards for home decor, fashion and other design industries.

Colors are chosen based on trends appearing in works by artists, fashion designers and people in the entertainment industry along with analysis of popular travel destinations, lifestyles and new materials and textures.
