There is no bad blood between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” a fan asked Dobrev if she thinks it’s “weird” that she’s still friends with her former boyfriend and his wife, Nikki Reed.
Dobrev and Somerhalder, who co-starred on the CW series “The Vampire Diaries,” dated for several years before calling it quits in 2013. In 2015, Somerhalder married Reed, who, coincidentally, portrayed vampire Rosalie Hale in the “Twilight” films. Somerhalder and Reed have a daughter – Bodhi Solei, 1.
“Why can’t everyone be friends?” Dobrev continued. “I think they have a beautiful baby, and they are happy and so am I. What’s bad about that? I don’t see any problem with that.”
Dobrev has documented her times hanging out with “team Somereed,” as she playful dubbed Somerhalder and Reed, including a dinner gathering a few months before the couple’s daughter was born.
“Can’t believe how time flies,” she captioned a picture. “Farewell dinner with team Somereed! So good catching up with these goofballs. All ❤”
Reed also posted a picture from the evening in February 2017, taking an opportunity to snuff rumors “about ‘friends backstabbing friends,’ ‘cheating exes’ or ‘cast members exiting shows.”http://www.usatoday.com/”
“So here’s to putting an end to all those fake stories of on set jealousy, betrayal, made-up-friendships lost & women hating women,” Reed wrote.
