A fire broke out on the main stage Saturday night during the second day of Orlando’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Tinker Field outside of Camping World Stadium, according to Ashley Papagni, an Orlando Fire Department spokesperson.
The fire was contained as OFD arrived, Papagni said.
On-scene reports suggest one of the pyro effects on the side of the stage blew the fire on top of the display.
Hayden Capuozzo, better known as the American DJ Kayzo, was performing when the fire apparently started, the DJ stated in a tweet. Capuozzo stopped his performance as the fire was put out.
There were no reports of injuries and no one was evacuated, Papagni said.
Performances continued on the stage after the fire was extinguished.
