There is no doubt that Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry made quite an impact, and we can’t wait to hear as much as possible about their time on the tour. So, how does Queen Elizabeth really feel about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal tour in Africa?
What did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry do in Africa?
How did Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry spend their time during the ten days of their royal tour? According to Good Housekeeping, Prince Harry, Markle, and even little Archie were busy meeting up with country leaders and discussing issues such as raising awareness to many issues.
For example, Prince Harry spotlighted the need to eradicate landmines, just like his late mother, Princess Diana, did many years ago. Not only that, but Duchess Meghan gave a speech to a group of women who are members of a female empowerment organization, which she absolutely loved doing.
One of the best moments was when Archie was introduced to Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter. In addition, Prince Harry spoke about his hopes and dreams for Baby Archie, saying that he would like to pass along his values and his love of Africa.
However, it wasn’t all work and no fun for the duke and duchess! While there, they participated in a friendly game on the beach with a group of surfers, appearing to have the time of their lives as they swayed back and forth as they did work with a charity called Waves for Change.
How is the tour of Africa changing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s image?
Prince Harry and Markle have always done things their own way. While they don’t outwardly defy royal rules and protocol, they do tend to put their own spin on things, such as moving away from the high-profile city of London, and not doing the traditional photocall immediately after their son was born.
Their recent tour of Africa is changing the image of the royal couple for the better, according to Express. They are interacting with so many local people and doing what they can to make a difference while they are there. According to a royal expert, the trip has been “uniquely informal,” with Markle wearing many sustainable clothing labels and also choosing not to wear her engagement ring while there.
Everyone is said to be delighted with how personalized their visit has been, as they have hugged the majority of the people they have met.

While a royal commentator says that some people are “upset” about the non-traditional approach the duke and duchess took, the queen herself couldn’t be happier. Looks like the Sussexes have her majesty’s seal of approval for their royal tour.
