‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown Says She Is Getting Upsetting Messages from Christian Fans After Episode Discussing Sex – The Cheat Sheet

Hannah Brown isn’t scared to show her physical attraction to the men competing for her love on The Bachelorette. One contestant is giving her heat about her dates and sadly it looks like some fans are sending her messages showing their disapproval too. Find out what Brown said about the upsetting messages and more.

Hannah Brown went naked bungee jumping for a date

The latest episode showed Brown going naked bungee jumping with Garrett Powell. It certainly looked like a scary adventure for several reasons, but both of them had fun.

In the same episode, Brown also got alone time with fan favorite, Peter Weber. They had a spa day which included them being in a sauna together. They ended up making out.

Both of the dates had fans talking. One of them started a fight between cast members because Luke Parker wasn’t happy to hear that Brown went naked bungee jumping.

“I know that your body is a temple and honestly like I’m just thinking of you holding him bare skinned,” Parker told Brown. He added that “It really pissed me off” and called it a boneheaded mistake.

That conversation didn’t sit well with Brown so she had another talk with him. She said the date wasn’t sexual, “But even if it was at this point it doesn’t matter because you’re not my husband. You don’t own my body. You don’t own me. It’s my body.”

We know this won’t be the only heated conversation the two will have about sex. Previews showed that Parker tries to figure out if Brown had sex with other people.

He is seen saying to her that he believes, “marriage bed should be kept pure.” Brown responds by saying she doesn’t owe him anything and that Jesus still loves her even with the fact that she’s had sex before marriage.

Brown posts a message saying she’s getting upsetting messages from Christians

I refuse to not stand in the sun. I refuse to feel shame. I refuse to believe the lies and evil that flood my comments. I am standing firm in believing that maybe God wants to use a mess like me to point to His goodness and grace. But dang, it’s hard. The amount of hate I and the men on this journey with me receive…it’s chilling to know so many people want to spread hurt so recklessly. We all fall short of the glory of God…we just happen to do it on national television. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve realized that a lot of the things that Satan uses to hurt me, come in the form of many of your comments— he uses a grain of truth to steer to evil lies. “You’re not enough, you’re dirty, you’re dumb, you’re immature, you’re not worthy…”. It’s upsetting to get messages from Christians telling me I give Christians a bad name. I’ve lived my life for the world to see and judge and absolutely, I’m hot mess on a stick, I blew it a few times…but I refuse to believe I give Christians a bad name. I’m an imperfect human. Who is yes, also a Christian. And God has a master plan for all the failures I continue to learn and grow from to work out for good, and for his glory. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you to those who continue to support me and my guys as we open our hearts to each other, and in turn…you! We appreciate you and your kindness! ♥️

Brown posted a picture of herself in a field of flowers tagged in the Netherlands. She wrote a long caption that revealed that she is getting backlash from Christian fans.

Part of the caption reads, “I’ve realized that a lot of the things that Satan uses to hurt me, come in the form of many of your comments— he uses a grain of truth to steer to evil lies. ‘You’re not enough, you’re dirty, you’re dumb, you’re immature, you’re not worthy…’. Brown previously talked about refusing to be shamed for having sex in an interview. “There was just a moment where I was in a place where I felt that I was being looked at differently than who I actually am, and I know who I am, and who’s I am, and I don’t want to be judged for that because nobody should ever be judged for anything that they do, because we’re supposed to love each other, not judge,” Brown told E! News.

The good news is that many fans and men on the show aren’t on Parker’s side. Sadly, there will be another episode showing Parker and Brown’s other confrontation around sex coming up.
