The next show on the WWE calendar is the latest trip into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The show will be called Crown Jewel, the same as the show around this time last year, and will take place on Oct. 31, 2019, at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Here’s the card:
- Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez (WWE championship)
Lesnar beat up Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominick, and Mysterio responded by calling up a friend who once beat up Lesnar at a UFC show back in 2010. It wasn’t initially made clear if it would be a title match but WWE later clarified it would be. While they initially went away from the revenge angle, they seemed to have leaned on it more recently.
- Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury
Strowman squared up with Fury while he was ringside for the debut of SmackDown on FOX, leading to the boxer jumping the barricade. He was invited back and given a microphone, using it to go after Strowman once again. It eventually led to a match being booked. They’ve run a few angles and promos but it hasn’t been anything special.
- Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt (Universal championship)
This will be a Falls Count Anywhere match that WWE has specified cannot be stopped for any reason. It’s their way of ensuring fans know there will be a definitive finish. We’ll see.
- Tag Team Turmoil World Cup Best Tag Team In The World Match
The teams involved: The New Day, The Viking Raiders, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, The Revival, The O.C., Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, and The B-Team.
- Team Flair vs. Team Hogan
These two set up a match where they’ll be represented by a group of five wrestlers. Team Flair consists of Randy Orton, King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre while Team Hogan consists of Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ali, Shorty G, and Ricochet.
- 20 Man Battle Royal
The winner of this match will receive a title shot against AJ Styles at some point during the show. It hasn’t been announced who will be participating.
- Mansoor vs. Cesaro
Mansoor is a Saudi wrestler, so it makes sense to get him on the card here. He’ll probably go over, considering WWE hasn’t done much with Cesaro of late other than job him out.
No other matches have announced or hinted at as of right now.
