
Ahead of the Oscar nominations, which were announced Monday, Sandler had (jokingly?) set a wager if he was shut out of the competition for the critically acclaimed “Uncut Gems,” about a gambling addict trying to find his way above water.
“If I don’t get it, I’m going to f–ing come back and do one again that is so bad on purpose just to make you all pay,” Sandler threatened on “The Howard Stern Show” in early December.. “That’s how I get them.”
