However, it appears the two don’t want to know. Prince William and Kate Middleton also didn’t know the gender of any of their three children before they were born. Harry once said he was hoping for a girl, but the couple probably just wants a healthy baby more than anything. But some are convinced that Harry may get his wish.
Bookies are convinced the betting pattern means Meghan will be having a girl
Each time a royal family member is expecting, there are plenty of bets on whether the baby will be a boy or girl. And now, bookies are convinced they’ve found a hidden clue that proves Meghan and Harry are having a girl. Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker, suggests that the pattern of betting is what has determined the baby’s gender. According to Mirror, the company has reported an “identical pattern of betting” consistent with the likelihood that the baby will be a girl. “The flow of bets over the course of today has been almost as heavy as the general goodwill towards the couple – and we’re now convinced they’re having a girl,” a spokesman for the company said in January.

The bets on what the royal baby’s name will be also fall
into the pattern of having a girl, based on past royal babies. While it’s
unclear whether the public will be right in its prediction, many believe that
if the couple does have a girl, Harry and Meghan will name her Diana after
Harry’s late mother. In terms of bets, Diana is overwhelmingly the favorite
choice. However, nobody suspected Will and Kate would name their son Louis, so
the public may not be right about what Harry and Meghan decide to call the
royal baby.
