Epic has announced eight more PC games launching exclusively on the Epic Games Store, including Ooblets, Wattam, and, for the first time on PC, the Alto Collection, which will come with both Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey.
Some of these games are also launching on various consoles, so the use of the term “exclusives” in this context seems to mean that they won’t be coming to any other digital storefronts on the PC.
Announced back in 2014, Wattam is a game about making friends with the strange objects around you, whether that’s talking trees or talking toilets. Meanwhile, Ooblets is a farming game about raising your own blobs, which you can train to fight like blobby Pokémon.
The full list of games announced in the trailer also includes No Straight Roads, an action-adventure game about the power of indie rock; The Eternal Cylinder, about an adorable alien exploring a strange world; Airborn Kingdom, a city-builder in the sky; Superliminal, a puzzle game about perspective; and Manifold Garden, which is somewhere between an architectural exhibit and a physics simulator.
The Ooblets developer, Glumberland, announced that its game would be an Epic Games Store exclusive earlier this month, causing outcry from some members of the community.
