I know the record, I won’t spoil it though . It sounds great that it got to number 1 and it is, but when you look into it, it’s not that impressive. Well maybe it is, as Yoshi has always been kind of niche. Still, it was a very, very quiet week for new releases. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered was another new release on the PS4 and was in the Top 10. That right there should tell you how easy it is to chart high. If you choose your timing right, companies can reach number 1 with modest sales. Another factor that helped Yoshi’s Crafted World sales is that it’s Nintendo’s first new game of the year on Switch, and only their second game after the port of NSMBUD.
