As we inch closer to the character reveal even happening next week, NetherRealm Studios are showing off pieces of Mortal Kombat 11 along the way. The latest drop came this morning as the company showed off a full render of what Scorpion looks like in the game. At least, in his current incarnation from what we saw in the trailers, minus the blood.

From what we can tell, it’s still Hanzo Hasashi from MKX, still a human after being brought back to life in the last game. But rather than just having his regular gear with the bandana, he has returned with a slightly shiny getup with more armor plating and room to show off the muscles. Whatever the storyline may be, it looks like they’re keeping Scorpion the way he was in some capacity for Mortal Kombat 11. Here’s hoping we get to learn more at next week’s event!
