Lots has been happening on this season of Teen Mom OG, but the most heartbreaking drama has definitely been the tension between Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra. They’ve been struggling with their marriage since Cate got back from three months in a treatment center for emotional issues, and it looks like they even were planning to separate.

And to add another layer of complication — Catelynn was already pregnant with their third child together. This week on the show, the Baltierras found out that they’re expecting another girl (they’re already parents to Carly, 9, whom they gave to adoption, and Nova, 3, whom they are raising together), and also talked to producers about their plans to separate for one month.
They had apparently attended a marriage retreat together, and Tyler felt like it would help them as a couple to spend some time apart, and learn to function independently. Cate even asked if there was someone else in the picture, but Ty quickly dismissed that, and reassured her that he just thought it would be good to have a little bit of space to work on themselves, as well as work on their marriage.
They were just in the planning stages of setting up the separation, so it will be interesting to see if they actually go through with it in coming weeks. We sure hope these two can work it out — a world where Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra split up isn’t one we want to live in.

When Cory asked Chey to come with him and their daughter Ryder to Michigan to visit with his family, Zach offered her an ultimatum — him or Cory. Chey obviously chose to maintain her friendship with the father of her child, and when Cory found out, he said that he would always choose her over a girlfriend too. Can these two just hurry up and be together already??

They put an offer in on a gorgeous new house, and it got accepted! Maci and Tay have moved a few times in the past several years, and they declared this one to be the final one. And with house gorgeous the house is, we have no doubt they’ll be loving it for years to come.

While visiting with family and friends in Alaska, she opened up about her ex’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality, and said that that’s how he always sucked her back into their on-again-off-again relationship. She even confessed that she let him make her believe that her own family didn’t like her!
These two have had quite the dramatic breakup over the course of the season so far, and honestly, it seems like Dakota is the one who needs to chill out and try to be friendly towards his ex for the sake of their children. While visiting with his own family with Sailor and Atlee, he admitted that he saw no reason to be cordial or friendly with Bristol, and would prefer to treat co-parenting as a business transaction. OK, Dakota. We’ll see how that goes.

After his wife Kristina suffered from multiple miscarriages, one of which happened after she had her tubes tied, Gary took one for the team and had the snip-snip done.
