It’s the holidays! That means our shopping lists are full and gifts we need to wrap are piling up.
Ever cut a piece of wrapping paper too small for the item you’re trying to wrap? You’re not alone. A viral gift-wrapping hack is here to help.
A video of a gift-wrapping trick that will help you salvage that seemingly-too-little sheet of festive holiday paper is making the rounds on social media.
In the video, a box appears too large for the piece of wrapping paper underneath it.
“Not enough? Rotate diagonally,” text on the screen advises.
Then, as if by a Christmas miracle, the box is shown being covered perfectly by the piece of paper.
The video, shared by user @chUckbUte, has garnered over 13.7 million views.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. After all these years…” he captioned the clip.

“What sorcery is this? This is MAGIC,” user @TheMominatrixx said.
“Many wrapping papers gave their lives to my ignorance,” user @CamilleLarou joked.
According to the sharer, the video originally comes from the hack page “Blossom Hacks,” where the video has racked up 5.2 million views.
