Dr Disrespect has brilliant reaction to huge Twitch donation

Dr Disrespect

Twitch sensation Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm reacted in typically eccentric fashion after receiving a huge $2,500 donation whilst streaming Apex Legends.

Dr Disrespect is known for his hyperbolic behaviour on and off stream, often exchanging banter with other creators, such as Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek and Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins. He is also one of the most successful content creators on Twitch, with over 3.3 million followers.

The Doc was streaming Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends, the Titanfall-esque battle royale, on March 29, when he was notified of a huge donation by Twitch, and proceeded to react in the way only the Doc could.

The Doc has been streaming Apex Legends almost exclusively since its February release.

Donations are very common for large Twitch streamers, but usually range from about $5 to $20, nowhere near the incredible $2,500 donated to Dr Disrespect.

The Doc was coming off a win in Apex Legends, playing with Krafty and TSM Viss, when the donation came through. “Woah, woah, woah woah, woah!” he said. “Did you mean $2.50?”

“Twenty-five hundred dollar donation, ladies and gentlemen,” he continued, before yelling: “Two thousand five hundred dollars do you not listen to me! Twenty five hundred dollar donation says, doctor, it’s good to see you wreck these fools on the battle royale scene, keep the fight going.”

The Doc signs off by yelling some more, before going on to say that he believes this week has been the most incredible of his streaming career in terms of donations from his fan base.

Dr Disrespect has experienced another growth in popularity thanks to the popularity of Apex Legends, and his often eccentric behaviour whilst playing it, as well as his natural gaming talent.

Putting the jokes to one side, the incredible reaction form the Doc goes to show how much he appreciates the donation, and his dedication to his character on stream.
