Her former girl band Pussycat Dolls reunited at Saturday’s X Factor: Celebrity finale with a sexy performance – which received 419 Ofcom complaints – without her.
The musician, 35 – who previously admitted she struggled to find her voice in the group with lead singer Nicole Scherzinger – appeared in great spirits as she picked up her Deliveroo takeaway while heading to her next destination following a long day in the studio.
In her own element: Melody Thornton was seen for the first time since her former group The Pussycat Dolls made their epic comeback as she stepped out in London on Sunday
Nailing casual chic, the Phoenix native wrapped up in a double-breasted wool coat, a ribbed turtleneck top and a smart midi-dress.
The Bulletproof singer injected a hint of edgy style into her appearance with patent ankle boots, and carried her possessions in a designer handbag.
With her brunette tresses styled into a slick bun, the R&B star complemented her beauty with matte foundation and a slick of nude lipstick.
Starring as the titular character, Melody will hit the road with the likes of EastEnders star Samantha Womack as The Wicked Stepmother and broadcaster Lesley Garrett as The Fairy Godmother from Saturday until January 5 at the New Wimbledon Theatre.

Heading out: The musician, 35, left rehearsals for her stint as Cinderella in Christmas pantomime, and picked up her Deliveroo takeaway on departure
The singer was the youngest member of the Pussycat Dolls, which feature Nicole, 41, Ashley Roberts, 38, Kimberly Wyatt, 37, Carmit Bachar, 45, and Jessica Sutta, 37, and announced her departure in 2010 after a seven-year stint.
And marking their reunion with a bang, the band delivered a raunchy performance on ITV’s X Factor, with Ofcom receiving a whopping 419 complaints about the set.
The group shocked fans as they took to the stage at the A-star competition series in racy ensembles.
Earlier this year, Melody took a swipe at Nicole as she admitted she struggled to find her voice in the group.
During an appearance on Lorraine in February, the belter explained: ‘The issue for me stemmed… she’s [Nicole] got this Christina Aguilera style ability and I thought my dreams were going to happen. Then the gears shifted hard.
‘Nicole had been in two groups prior and she had all of this experience recording albums and so they said, “We’re going to have Nicole do all of the recording, you’re going to have to learn and you’re going to have dance with the rest of the girls”.
‘I wasn’t using my best asset… and people were getting to know me for something I didn’t do and I was the weakest dancer. It was just really challenging, it was tough. But we did have fun, but that’s your introduction into the adult world.’
In her solo career, Melody has collaborated with hit artists such as Cee Lo Green, Lil Wayne and LL Cool J.

Time to eat! The Dancing On Ice star held onto a bag of food as she headed off
More recently, the media personality participated in ITV’s Dancing On Ice, where she finished in fifth place with Alexander Demetriou.
Buttons hitmaker Nicole announced on Wednesday she was reuniting with the band – minus Melody, for a 2020 tour and said the group’s string of performances is her focus at the moment.
The X Factor judge said on Dan Wootton’s podcast: ‘Thom is lovely but what’s going on is that I am very busy. It’s been a very transitional transformation year for me and I am really focusing on distracting myself with my destiny.
‘Truth be told, I really willed and prayed for this [reunion]. It took a lot of work. The timing was right. It took a lot of focus.’
Stepping out: Her former bandmate Ashley Roberts was spotted out and about in London, rocking an emerald jumpsuit and a faux fur jacket
Beaming; The singer looked delighted as she headed out and about with her day following a successful return to form for The Pussycat Dolls
The lead singer said she is ‘so excited’ about getting back together with the Don’t Cha hitmakers- and hopes they will ‘push each other’.
Their reunion was partly inspired by the Spice Girls successful tour earlier this year, as the women claimed they felt the series of shows was ‘inspiring’.
The tour will kick off in April 2020 amid rumours of a rift over Nicole’s dominant role in both the recording studio and on stage.
